We are a grassroots Democratic organization in Washington County, PA dedicated to electing Democratic Candidates who will commit themselves to the purpose of giving our Government back to all of the people of the United States; candidates who will serve the people and not the corporations and the wealthy.
As a group we keep ourselves informed and educated on the issues. We meet the candidates, hear them speak, get to know them, and help them with their campaigns. That includes canvassing neighborhoods, working phone banks, and getting the word out. If you are not able to get involved in candidate campaigns directly, join us just to stay informed. We also have educational forums - in the past, these have included forums on redistricting reform (ending gerry mandering) and forums on healthcare reform.
If you like what you see and want to be part of the fight and help make a change, then join us, and be part of the movement. You will stand side by side with like minded people who are simply fighting for a better world. The time is ripe for change, and people like you can help us succeed.
In 2018 we took back the house and by voting in 2020 with work we can take back the Senate and the presidency
Last October, Governor Wolf signed Act 77 into law. It’s a historic election reform bill that makes some of the most significant changes to PA’s elections in more than 80 years.
Here’s the critical news for you: Voters in Pennsylvania can now vote by mail.
Thousands of Pennsylvanians like you are already signing up to vote by mail. This might seem like a simple change, but it’s huge -- especially given the times we are living in during the COVID-19 pandemic, where social distancing is imperative.
You can make the most of voting by mail and help turn PA blue. As long as your completed application is received by 5:00 PM, one week before the date of the election, you will receive a mail-in ballot. Simply return it in the mail by 8:00PM on Election Day and your vote will be counted -- just as if you went to the polls yourself. Applications for Mail in Ballots are being accepted now.
